This review is from: Gourmet Chef 4-1/2-Quart Non-Stick Deep fryer with Frying Basket and Glass Cover (Kitchen) Bought this fryer from a different site, should have come here and paid an extra $3 to $5 for something more sturdy. The pan is thin, feels flimsy. The basket IS flimsy. The handles are thin wires. If the basket is used, the lid cannot be used, unless you fold the handles over the top of the oil and let them cook, too. The glass lid looks fine, it is a glass lid! If you want instructions, look them up somewhere else...none come with the fryer. Same with recipes, but who buys a fryer for the recipes? I can use this item, but it only ranks an "It's OK" from me.
