Rachael Ray Stoneware Chip n' Dip Serving Platter, 2-Piece, Red

Versatile chip 'n dip platter
Not only can I use this for serving chips and dip, or as a veggie platter with dressing, I'll be using the pieces individually. The dip bowl measures (roughly) 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" deep and the platter measures approximately 15-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1-1/2". I've used the platter alone to roast some vegetables in the oven, since it's good for up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The dip bowl holds a good amount of Hershey kisses. The handles make it easy to grab from a hot oven while using pot holders. Clean-up is almost as easy as non-stick, but I recommend using a scrubber that's safe for Teflon-type pans.

Chip n' Dip serving platter is beautiful, useful, hard to store
This is our first Rachel Ray's Stoneware product. The real product looks as good as it is dipicted in the picture. Overall product quality and finish are excellent. Even though the name suggests a particular use for the product, like us, you can quickly think of all the other uses for this set.

The color of the product draws attention. If you want your childre/family/friends to try you new food creation, just put the food item in the platter and place it on the kitchen island or dinig table. The container makes the food enticing.

The only complaint I can come up with is the amount of space it takes in our kitchen cabinet.

I would certainly recommend it, and it would definitely be a great useful gift.

This Dish Is Delish.
I have a pewter dish which is supposed to be safe in oven, microwave, dishwasher. It has inlaid parts which come off on your food.

This clean, large, and elegant dish is the real deal. You can stack french toast on it and pop it in the oven for warming, you can stick it in the dishwasher, and it handles the microwave. It also is very large. Bigger than it looks.

This means that you could easily put 30-40 canapes on it, or a huge amount of chips (the dip bowl also is very nice). Heavy, solid, and a work horse.

I have another tray with an attached dip bowl, which I guess is for idiots who would lose the bowl if it were separate. This is far more functional.

So, if you like well designed household tools, this is a very good one.
