Love this cooker! So easy to use. I just put 8oz. of angel hair pasta with 3 cups water for 15 mins. then added 1 can diced tomato with garlic & basil, 1 tbs. of smart balance, 1 chicken breast, 1 cup zucchini and put it back in for 5 mins and wham supper! I didn't even have to drain off the pasta...cooked perfect. I can't wait to try some other recipes. Hand wash only, there are holes on the bottom of the cooker that cannot be put underwater. It was easy to clean, non stick. I will purchase another one so I can have two dishes going at the same time. One thing is to allow the pan to cool inbetween steps, 10 mins after using it to boil pasta.
Very handy
I like this cooker a lot. I use my microwave more than my stove, usually using a silicone steamer dish. This item allows you to cook items that would normally explode in the microwave, such as eggs with unpierced yolks. It cooks as if it were in a regular oven, only faster, cooking the item from the outside in. It does tend to get hot, and could overheat your microwave if being used for several minutes. Best to let it cool off a bit between cooking different items in it. Follow all directions carefully for safety
Best Pan Ever
I bought this for my girlfriend who is a bit shy in the kitchen. She hates always watching over the food and doesn't know when to flip something and such. With this pan you just pop it in the microwave and then flip it and then perfect food comes out. We use it mostly for chicken, and it comes out perfect and moist, even from a frozen state. It is actually my favorite way to cook chicken now. Who would have thought a microwave pan could be this great!
