NEW 30-QUART HEAVY-GAUGE STAINLESS STEEL (18/10) STOCK POT W/ GLASS LID COVER

Good pot, but not 30 qts
I bought this several months ago and have finally come to the realization that this pot is short of 30 qts. A few qts would be fine, but it can only hold 6.5 gallons or roughly 26 qts. That's a gallon less than what is advertised. Sorry to see that is so falsely advertised, especially when I need 7.5 gallons to boil my 5 gallon beer batches.

Home Brew boil pot
I bought this pot after an exhaustive search for the best stainless steel pot that could boil 28 or more quarts.

I'm quite pleased with this pot. It was the least expensive stainless pot I could find in it's size class. the pot isn't extraordinarily thick, but it's sturdy enough to hold 7 gallons of boiling water without making me think twice. The aluminum core is a great feature for brewing -- I haven't scorched a wort yet.

All in all, I doubt you can find a better stainless pot at this size for less money.

Good pot for brewing beer
I purchased this as my brew pot, mainly because of the relative narrow diameter which is what I needed to boil 6+ gallons on my anemic electric stove. Works very well, it is an excellent price, and comes with a top. My only complaint is that is is less than 30 quarts, maybe short by a quart or so.
