Exactly like I expected. It arrived very quickly and I have used it already to make some wonderful baked beans I am very sarisfied with the product
Bean Pot
This bean pot is really nice and performs very well. It holds 2# (raw) navy beans and does the sloooow cooking needed very well. Its shape is especially conducive to its performance. The relatively small top opening that immediately spreads widely permits the beans to steam and bake without the liquid overflowing as it does for me in another straight-sided bean pot I have. This is the second of these pots I have bought; the other one I gave a s a gift and this one I got for a vacation home.
Nice pot
This pot is very nice for heating and serving beans. It makes a nice addition to any picnic. And beans always seem to taste best when they come from a baked pot even if they are canned beans heated in the authentic bean pot. My only problem is that the top is hard to grasp. It seems like they should have made the top knob larger and also the sides could be larger too. I always feel like I don't have a secure grip on it when I take it out of the oven.
