bread and fruit basket
Pretty and functional. Looks nice sitting on my counter. Perfect for ripening fruit because it allows air circulation around the fruit. I use it mainly for ripening avacodo or pears. Easy to clean if there is any residue left behind. Clean lines that would look good in a formal dining room setting. Arrived packaged well, no chips or breaks. Looks a lot heavier than it actually is. Nice product offered by Amazon.
Looks better in person
I bought this for my girlfriend because she saw it in a magazine and said she liked this stone basket.. Looking at the pictures I didn't think much of it but I must say now that it has arrived it is very nice, a lot better looking than the picture. It is well made and this item actually shipped within an hour of my order! I am assuming this has to be hand made but I see no flaws in the construction and feels very sturdy.

I love how this looks in the middle of my kitchen table. I haven't used it as a bread basket yet. I have some pretty red (fake) apples in it right now and it's just really cheery. I have used it to hold real fruit and I love that it allows for air circulation. Sent one as a gift too!
